About Me.
Akvilė Čepurnaitė
Journalist Akvilė Čepurnaitė is a student at Vilnius University She has a diploma from the Oratorium School and a certificate from the Menar Academy. Čepurnaitė has experience in the field of journalism itself. For example, she had to interview an architect from the Netherlands, write school articles, and conduct various events: from school holidays to children's recitals. Before coming to Vilnius University in 2018, Akvilė Čepurnaitė was focused on her hobbies. She was so interested in different subjects that at one moment she even had seven extracurricular activities. One of them was tennis, which she played for five years. Čepurnaitė was interested in theatre classes, which improved oral speaking as it is very important in journalism, and managed to keep up with all other activities like salsa classes, Spanish lessons, choir and LMS (Lithuania’s students’ union). In addition to these activities, Čepurnaitė is even writing a book about time travelling. Like every good journalist should, Čepurnaitė is interested in several different matters, for example, astronomy, business, theology, fashion, and history. This interest allows her to write and talk about these subjects better than some journalists who specialize just in one area. Akvilė Čepurnaitė has said once that she wants to become a journalist just because it allows her to work on all of the areas listed above. |
